Bonnyville PCN is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving as a public volunteer member on the PCN Board of Directors to support the Board in the launch of this inaugural role. The Board of Directors is the legal authority for Bonnyville PCN. As a member of the Board, a Director acts in a position of trust for the membership and community. A Director has a legal duty to act in the best interest of the corporation. A public member shares with the Chair and other members of the Board the responsibilities of: governing the PCN, which includes formulating policies and processes that enable the Board to make responsible decisions on fiscal and clinical matters; fostering the purpose and vision of the PCN; and has a commitment to the financial and social well- being of the PCN and to primary care in general.
